Ourika Valley & Setti Fatma Waterfalls Day Trip
River cafés, argan cooperatives and the seven waterfalls of Setti Fatma.
01Overview
The greenest valley near Marrakech: a women's argan cooperative, a traditional Berber house and a walk up to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, with lunch by the river.
The Ourika valley follows a mountain river into the High Atlas, about an hour from Marrakech. Along the way you visit an argan oil cooperative run by local women and a traditional earthen Berber house.
At Setti Fatma, a local guide leads you up the rocks to the first waterfalls (about an hour, some scrambling). Lunch is at one of the cafés with tables right over the river — a Marrakech classic on hot days.
