2-Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech
A short taste of the desert: kasbahs, the Draa palm valley and a night in a Zagora camp.
01Overview
If you only have two days, this is the desert trip that fits: the Atlas mountains, Aït Ben Haddou, the green Draa valley and a camel ride to a camp near Zagora.
Zagora sits at the end of the Draa valley, the longest palm grove in Morocco, where the stony desert begins. It is closer to Marrakech than Merzouga, so the journey is shorter and you still enjoy a camel ride, a dinner under the stars and a night in a desert camp.
Good to know: the dunes around Zagora are smaller than Erg Chebbi. If big golden dunes are your dream and you have three days, choose our 3-day Merzouga tour.
