01Overview
A slower, scenic loop through the High Atlas and the kasbah country: Telouet, Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, the Skoura palm grove and the Dadès gorge.
Not everyone wants to sleep in the desert — and southern Morocco has much more than dunes. This tour takes the old caravan road through Telouet and the Ounila valley to Aït Ben Haddou, spends a night in the Ouarzazate area and explores the Skoura oasis and the switchbacks of the Dadès gorge.
Ideal for photographers, families with young children and anyone who prefers comfortable hotels and shorter driving days.

03Day by day

Day 1
Marrakech → Telouet → Ounila valley → Aït Ben Haddou
Cross the Tichka pass, turn off to the Glaoui kasbah of Telouet and follow the Ounila valley down to Aït Ben Haddou.

Day 2
Ouarzazate → Skoura → Valley of Roses → Dadès
Visit Ouarzazate and its Taourirt kasbah, the palm grove of Skoura and the Valley of Roses, ending among the rock formations of the Dadès gorge.

Day 3
Dadès → Ouarzazate → Tichka → Marrakech
A relaxed drive back over the High Atlas with photo stops, arriving in Marrakech late afternoon.
